The NaNoWriMo Update... And the Social Media Time-Suckers...

I cleared the 50,000 word goal. Got one 2-hour script drafted for my mini-series and... outlined the rest of the series to use as a guide post for the other scripts. We may be looking at a 4-part mini-series.

My Gay Romance Fantasy TV series script is being added to this weekend to reach the necessary page count for it to be a 2-hour premiere. I will then finish with the current editing and revise the ACT breaks once done.

The 1-hour premiere TV script for my Paranormal/Fantasy Gay and Straight story line is finished, with the exception of one more read through, correction stage. Then I send it off to be reviewed and edited by what I call a script doctor.

I've been so wrapped up in the negative political garbage going on within my social media, I think I'll steer clear from Facebook and Twitter for a while as I seek to regroup this coming week. I have it off from work and really need to focus on my projects. It's amazing how Facebook and Twitter can suck you in and never let go. I'm honestly trying to remember what my life was like before Facebook 9 years ago. How is that even possible?

Twitter is so full of hate and negativity it's an addiction. You want to run from it, but... it's a means to connect with those who may be interested in your meager offerings and you just 'don't want to miss anything.' *sigh* When did we become slaves like this? When? How? I'm enslaved and I'm breaking my chains.

I have scripts to write, dag-nabbit! What the hell am I doing on Social Media? For what reason? All the political and world problems are just dragging me sooooo down the drain. What would happen if I just ignored it for a bit? Say... a month? What would I feel like as compared to what I feel now? Hmmmmmmmmm. What would YOU feel like? Thought: Try it for a day and then another day and then another. There's a life out there. Let's see if we can find it again.

Moving Forward

So, I deactivated my Facebook account this morning. I may end up deleting it altogether but given my past patterns -- doubtful. I'm go...
